The Holberg parlour
The living room is named after the famous poet Ludvig Holberg, who wrote countless great plays, many of which have been performed at the royal theater throughout time. On the walls, there are three large old paintings depicting scenes from the plays, “The Emperor’s New Clothes,” “Jeppe on the Hill,” and more.
It should also be mentioned that stories say that H.C. Andersen’s regular table is table number 5, which is the table to the left before reaching the waiters’ buffet area and the toilets.
Practical information
The Holdberg parlour is the room you encounter when you enter the restaurant and turn right.
You will find 16 to 19 well-set places, spread over 6 tables, with the possibility of forming groups up to 19.
If you wish to reserve seats for more than 8, please contact the restaurant as it requires rearranging. If seats are booked for more than what the room can accommodate, you should be prepared to be split in separate rooms / lounges.

We recommend booking a table before your arrival (especially for the evening menu), since we are often fully booked during peak hours: 17:00 – at 19:00
