The students’ parlour
The students’ parlour
The name originates from a time when mainly law students, jurists, poets, and writers visited the place. Mentioned can be H.C. Andersen, Ludvig Holberg, as well as the famous Norwegian author Axel Sandemose (He was the one who wrote the Law of Jante), which we Danes have embraced. Sandemose celebrated his second wedding here at the place, and it is said that he was carried home by Norwegian and Danish students.
